Yesterday he’d sat on a bench in the park for hours, head bent over a thick book with a title she couldn’t make out. It was hardcover, though.
The day before he’d been carrying his shopping home from the outdoor market. She imagined he was very particular about spice.
Since she’d moved her little portrait stall to his neighborhood, she’d seen, and sketched, him almost every day.
He had become her favorite Muse, but she would never tell.
