More fashion questions

I'm too cheap to go to paid account, so you have to answer this poll the "old fashioned" way.

1. Monochromatic outfits: yea or nay?

2. If yea: what color(s) do you employ or endorse?

3. If yea: do you prefer/insist that all articles be precisely the same color? Or is a nearby shade better? Or a distant shade?

4. Pink neckties: your thoughts?

1. YEA.

2. black. pink. orange. white, for people who aren't me, i guess. not royal blue.

3. both. i like the MONOCHROME look sometimes, and the monochrome, multi-tone other times. i also really like a whole bunch of pink and red all together, especially with something leopard.

4. TWO THUMBS UP!

1. yea.
2. any color, really.
3. they should never be the same color (unless black). different shades of the same color or in the same color family are the best (one of my favorite outfits is a hot pink skirt with a reddish/orange-ish shirt. or navy pants with a turquoise shirt)
4. very fashionable and compelling.

1. Yea.

2./3. I am all about the color families--so, orange/red, red/red/red, green/green/green, etc. Not exact matching, for me the goal is more headache inducing.

4. Hell the fck yea.

the only thing I have to say is monochromatic ties on matching colored shirts is played out.

And I like me a pink tie.

ooh, ooh, i almost forgot. one fashion maven friend of mine once said to me (not that this has anything to do with the monochromatic theme): "solid colors always match."
