Miyazaki Town

In every major burg, there is a section of town devoted entirely to a certain demographic group. Some are even famous for their displays, such as San Francisco is for it's Chinatown, or New Orleans for it's French Quarter. "I thought it'd be busier than this," Bob remarks as he looks at the papered windows of the low-lying wooden buildings stretched along the street. There are fluttering red-and-gold banners with lettering in a language he can't read, and various odd little statues of cats and less identifiable creatures on the curbs, but there are no people to be seen. What gives?

"So did I... it's almost deserted compared to the rest of town..." Dot murmurs, walking along beside him with the kimono shuffling. This is very strange, everything's set up for...well anything to happen...and there's no one here.

"Let's find a place to sit and rest for a while..."

"Okay." Bob spots a bench on the side of the road half a block ahead, and ushers Dot toward it. They both settle onto the bench...

"AwK!"

...which just yelped at them?

...Whoever heard of a yelping bench? Certainly not Dot, but that doesn't stop her from getting up from the bench again and looking at it in surprise.
