The first thing to be seen upon leaving the upstairs closet of the Matrix' family apartment is the hallway and the stairs leading down to the second level. It's a lovely apartment, neat and decorated in the style of 'The 1950's as revisited by people from the year 3032

Underhill Spirit, shapeshifting, and a Fox who tends to be rather vain. Laini eventually settles on silver skin with green and blue hair. "This is interesting. And fun. There could be a whole paper written about similarities and differences here- but more than enough similarities for me to work with." She grins, cheerfully looking every which way around.
