I love Mondays

Oct 01, 2007 22:28

I never thought I'd say that since it's always been my least favorite day of the week, but Chuck and Heroes have changed my mind.  I look forward to Mondays now.  Congratulations NBC.

Chuck

First off - Sarah is Chuck's fake girlfriend just like I wrote about in my fanfic!  And there was a family dinner thing just like I had Chuck thinking about.  ( Read more... )

lost, heroes, reaction post, chuck

I'm not liking the Peter in Ireland story and Caitlin is making it worse.

When Angela admitted she slept with Hiro's dad I did a huge "OMGWTF!?!?!"

Yeah, the whole Ireland storyline is seeming a little forced and contrived at the moment. I really hope they can salvage it, but if the entire point is for Peter to get a love interest, I'll be irritated.

And the Angela/Kaito thing was definitely an OMGWTF moment. With all the ships the Heroes fandom has exposed me to, that one had never even entered my mind as a possibility!

I have my reaction!post up with you want to see it.

I totally agree with the with the whole Irish storyline. I love Peter's emo!puppiness, but I hope this has some point to it. He and Claire have got to make out later!

I'll definitely check out your reaction post.

Fingers crossed that the Irish storyline has a point.

He and Claire have got to make out later!

Haha. If only ;) My ultimate dream episode of Heroes would be the unrelating of Peter and Claire. Because, seriously, that chemistry should not go to waste.

I don't think that's ever going to happen, realistically, and I've come to terms with that. So I'll settle for fucked up dream sequence.

I, sadly, am still holding out a sliver of hope...although I realize it's probably never going to happen. I'd settle for a dream sequence too :)

I was thinking about your fic with the whole fake!girlfriend thing, too! That was so funny. Apparently you and I have a thing with reading TV writer's minds. lol

My jaw dropped when he said Oceanic Flight 815. Chuck knows the secret to the plane crash! I wanna know, too. :( lol

Peter's storyline is bugging me, too. The supposedly Irish people have the crappiest accents I've ever heard, and I'm not crazy about Caitlin. Mostly I just want Peter to get back to America, find Claire, and not be her uncle. West creeps me out, and she needs to be saved from him. ;)

I think we do have a thing with reading TV writers' minds. I totally thought of you when the Pamela Anderson reference came up in The Office. Do you know what I think this means? We're meant to write television shows ;)

The plane crash reference made my jaw drop too. I think Chuck should tell us both what really happened! (he's totally becoming my new fictional boyfriend, I think)

Yeah, the Irish accents are painfully bad. I lived over in Ireland for a year and every time the Irish scenes in Heroes come on, I cringe.

I completely agree! And since I think you'll enjoy it, here's a comment I made in phoenix39's journal about what would happen in my imaginary Heroes world:

Claire finds her stolen car and realizes that West is a stalker, so she goes on the run to get away from him and to go to New York to try find Peter (which is a quest she should go on at least ( ... )

I'm starting to think so, too. Otherwise, how are we so damn good at reading the writer's minds? It's getting downright scary lately.

I mean, there was no discussion leading up to Sarah being Chuck's fake girlfriend, so it was like your fic was the exact coversation that lead up to that, and that's just insane.

But if you've gotta have a psychic connection, that's not a bad one. ;)

I've never lived in Ireland, and I cringe at those scenes. Perhaps that's my Irish ancestors rolling in their graves, though. This is one storyline that needs to be over.

I think your idea is the perfect thing to have happen. :D hee Put that psychic connection to work, my friend. That is exactly the kind of Peter/Claire resolution we need. ;)

It is pretty scary, but awesomely so, how good we are at reading the writer's minds. I love it. We need to put our powers to work somehow. I'll start with attempting to influence the Peter/Claire storyline of Heroes ;)

That was incredibly insane! I couldn't believe that it fit so perfectly...and because they didn't explain the whole girlfriend things, it really was like my fic was the missing conversation.

Yay for our psychic TV connections!

What is that movie where the kids hide the new girl's car?
I don't know, but it sounds familiar. Is it Never Been Kissed?

I like how even though he can't remember who he is, he's still Peter who saves people and is "not a thief". Oh, totally. He's still himself. It shows that even though you can't remember stuff, you still have your basic personality. I was aching, though, for him to remember a little bit about Nathan.

Um, did Angela say that she slept with Hiro's dad?
Yes! I thought that was hilarious.

It makes me so happy that Hiro is really the Takezo Kensei that he always looked up to. He is the hero he always looked up to. I totally predicted that before the season even started!
I know! Me, too!

aside from Peter being all hot and shirtless
EVERY WEEK, PLEASE!

And Peter has powers, he totally could have just taken that box. This better have more of a point later.
But he doesn't really know enough about how to use them or control them enough to use them on command.

Can I just say how unbelievably happy it makes ( ... )

I think it may be Never Been Kissed. That sounds about right.

I was aching, though, for him to remember a little bit about Nathan.
Yeah, those two are so connected that it's sad to see the apart. Hopefully it won't be for too long.

I completely agree that Peter should be shirtless every week. That woud just make my life, lol.

he doesn't really know enough about how to use them or control them enough to use them on command.
That's true and makes complete sense. Way to point it out. I probably didn't think about it before because I was shouting "Peter! That box is two feet away from you. You know you have powers. Get your identity back!"

Hmm. How many times can I say "Me, too" in one comment?
Haha. It's okay, I love it. That's why we're fandom twins!
