Definitely helpful, and thank you. I'm trying not to let my confidence disappear with this little slip up. My mother was the first to comment on how I've made major improvements in my life with my job, health, ambitions, and even family relationships. I'm going to let he know that because I'm finally comfortable in my own skin, this is finally possible.

I've put myself on the fast track to being ready for this, getting all the queer perspectives I have access to and even being lame enough to read the coming out books in Barnes and Noble, haha. In a way, the hard part is over, and I didn't even see the initial reaction. Anyway, in the next few weeks, I will probably post back regardless of a good or bad outcome.
