I bought this Dragon tarot deck way back in 94 in a psychic fair run by a friend of mine, a few years ago I heard she died from MS. Anyway, I was on holiday with my second girlfriend in 98 and stumbled upon the book that went with the deck in a cheap book store in the US.

I got to meet Nicola Pracownik, the wife of the artist Peter Pracownik who drew the art for the Dragon tarot and wrote the accompanying book in a Mediaeval fayre in 2001. Apparently, although the deck sold in both countries, the publisher refused to publish in the UK believing that the book was substandard in quality.

Peter has his own website: http://www.peterpracownik.com/

I thought the message was prophetic in its meaning, since I already know what is happening; that it's not really a secret realized to me of recent times. but, I was drawn to the dragons cards more so than any other.

Do you mean the white dragon on December's calendar? It doesn't feature in the tarot deck.

I do suspect that he keeps the images small so they don't get stolen. He is simply selling his calendar. If he offered larger images, people would make their own calendar and he'd be out of pocket.

I must have got the tarot cards in 96 since that was when they came out. I thought I'd owned them longer.

Card 17 - The Star fyremoon February 2 2010, 15:19:35 UTC
This is what is written in the book:

A Blue Water Dragon rests by the side of a waterfall, from which it is filling a pot. Distracted by the falling star, the pot slips in its hand, spilling the water into the stream.

The star speaks: "It is said in our culture that it is from the stars we Dragons originally came, and that one day we shall return to them. I am collecting water for an important ceremony of purification which I intend to undergo upon sunrise. I am distracted, certainly, by the falling star; there have been a lot of them recently. In our sacred scriptures, it is written that when we see a star coming down from the heavens, a very special Dragon is due to be born in the next breeding batch. I wonder if that will turn out to be one of my own children!"

Divinatory Meaning: Realization, hope, inspiration.
Additional Triggers: Aquarius, symbol of humanitarianism.

*smiles* Ah the things us dragon's know of the universe would fill a few museum's to the brim.

I have always liked the Dragon Tarot, but never use it for myself. I believe what I believe as it is a truth of what my very soul and essence is.

I am a dragon. This is just a shell of what I am today.

One day the shell will crack and allow my form to materialize.
