That was quick! My free home eye test has been confirmed by OutsideClinic, providing NHS services, for 10:00am to 12:00noon next Thursday 24th November. My appointment came through even more quickly: it's tomorrow!

Funnily enough OutsideClinic phoned me around 2:00pm to say that they had a cancellation for tomorrow if that suited me. Unfortunately it didn't and so it's still Thursday for me.

I had my home eye test this afternoon and I'm now quite a lot poorer than I was this morning! And shattered.
I recommend it, though. It's amazing the equipment they can bring in a couple of cases. They do all the proper eye health tests, just as they should. A good range of frames but quite expensive.

Apparently those 'Specsavers come to me' ads on TV have brought the OutsideClinic a lot of business because of the long wait for a Specsavers visit. Worth knowing.

Good to know. I’m still hoping that they can use my frames from two prescriptions ago.
