Retinopathy Eye Test

Coming up this afternoon, my third retinopathy eye test. I have to endure one every two years and it is most unpleasant. Drops are put in both eyes and these sting like hell. The rest of the test is much the same as a regular eye test. You are warned about the resulting blurred vision that lasts for a while and so it is a taxi there and back

They've tried photographing my eyes several times for the retinopathy test, but the images were invariably so poor they couldn't tell anything, so I've always ended up having the eye drops test. I agree with you, the drops are most unpleasant.

I had blurred vision for several hours afterwards but I am fine now.

That's usually the case. It's a nuisance, but thankfully it doesn't last!
