I can not get into anything that has leaked from Howie's solo stuff, including this album. The lyrics are just too cheesy for me to take seriously.

Yeah, I can get that. :/ I've said it before and it's still true, Howie's got a wonderful ear for melody, but he needs someone else to write lyrics for him...I guess I've learned to ignore the cheesy lyrics and focus on other things. lol

I totally agree. I wish I could ignore the lyrics, I really do.

Howie is awfully pretty. (Why is he nodding so much, though? It makes him look like one of those little plastic dogs that people put in the back of their cars.) He looks nice in the leather jacket, and the colour of the video is lovely. The dancing is pretty good, but really, any second without Howie on the screen is a wasted second :-)

I can't say that the actual song does anything for me, though. I'm really a lyrics-first person when it comes to songs, and I'm pretty sure you could auto-generate those ones with a random table. And the production is horrible. It barely sounds like Howie at all in places. I wish the trend for producing the hell out of voices would go away.

LOL I thought he looked a bit like an awkward teenager in some places, but your comparison works too. ;) The song definitely sounds like dance club material, and it is very very different from his previous solo stuff. I generally like dance music, so I like this song, but less production on his voice would be so much better. Kind of reminds of Enrique Iglesias...

Is it bad that I spent the entire video wondering who choreographed it and who the dancers were? Because the dancing was better than the music production on the song. >_< The song is better than the stuff on Nick's latest solo album, but that's not saying much. I also have to be the only one that actually likes She's Like The Sun.

(Okay SERIOUSLY I might just have to show this video to one of my dancer friends so she can help me ID the dancers)

The dancing was pretty darn awesome!! Totally understandable. lol There was a short behind the scenes vid, where I think they mention dancers' names maybe? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=k9IXQRTFowM&feature=related Erm, I guess my expectations on production for Backstreet albums, group and solo, are not high...:/

Howie looks amazing and the dancing is fun. Loved the laundromat scene the most, so unexpectedly cute!

The song is growing on me. :D
