That is rather painful. He is regretting things he has yet to do, which is something different for the prompt.

Something different for the prompt and for the character and pairing, which I'm actually beginning to get hooked on for the first time in following the X-Men for almost 20 years. I was as tired of Scott and Jean as most other people, especially with Scott being in everybody's faces as the supposed savior of mutant kind and everybody and their brother wanting Jean Grey, until I started reading the All New X-Men series. I'm really enjoying their teenage versions and am actually rather hooked on the storyline, also for the first time in a while.

I'm glad you enjoyed this little insight to him and his budding relationship with Jean.
