Okay... I have not read x-men comics in a while....so what happened to Wolverine's left arm?

This is an alternate timeline called the Age of Apocalypse where history changed and Apocalypse began his move to start a war with humanity 20 years earlier than he did in the normal timeline.

Weapon X, not called Wolverine, lost his hand when he cut out Prelate Summers (Cyclops) eye saving Jean Grey from the mutate slave pens.

Pfft. X-Man is Nate Grey and I see what you mean but he is so not Cable. Same guy, different timelines. Far too different to be.
