Speaking of Capt. America, have you ever noticed a consistant trend in marvel comics about him. If you give Cap a beat down, The Avengers will kick your ass!

I remember this distinctly in the Korvac series, the Roger Stern Olympian series, and in the George Perez Avengers VS Justice League.

It's not the same when you kick Superman's butt! Its like every goes "Whoa, dude just smashed Sups"

But when a villian puts it to Cap, you get, "AVENGERS ASSEMBLE, Let Olympus ROCK with the power of the Avengers", "Oh no caps down, or NOOOOOO"!! Provided with every hero taking it to the max...

To bad no one was around in the recent can of Whup Ass Wolvie open on my star spanged friend....

Matters not, I love Cap he is the best!!!

Korvac was getting pounded by all the Avengers anyway...the fact Cap was beated with them is happenstance.

I don't think Hulk has ever beaten Cap...
