As I'm still reading The Ethical Slut, at what is, for me, a very slow pace, I have an idea about writing something sprung from my thoughts on each chapter. So I've been thinking what to write about jealousy, envy and the difference between the two.

I have always said that I didn't suffer from jealousy although I did get envious and I was operating

The definitions I use are:

Jealousy - NO! I don't want you doing that with them at all! It makes me feel bad.

Envy - Awwww, I wish you were doing that with me instead/as well.

Those are quite good definitions too! :D

I always try to look at them this way:

Envy is about things; Jealousy is about people.

Makes the dividing line extremely simple to find.
