Seasonal Words of Wisdom from the Office

Even though Christmas is Coming (no goose is getting fat), we're working hard at the Office. However, there is a little more general silliness than usual:

We're  having a Christmas lunch next week. M and N unfortunately can't  be there, because they'll be on holiday. We were discussing what to bring to the lunch:
K: I can bring devilled eggs!
M: Oh

"... a silly Mr Potatohead-lookalike with grass growing out of his head to promote our education activities. (The growing grass is supposed to symbolize the growing knowledge. We all hate it.)" HAHAHAHAHAHA. Well, I think it's cute. Ha ha

We have yet to get a Christmas tree, I don't really want one this year. Well, I'm not fussed either way, to be honest. So long as the dining table doesn't get moved into my room again. ¬_¬ Little space in here as there is. Not 'cause it's a small room, just 'cause there are unnecessary things left in my room!

I imagine a lot of people are working very hard over Christmas, it seems as if a lot of people have more stress during this time. Whether that's due to more people buying things, more people getting into festive merriment a bit too much or people trying desperately to meet lots of deadlines amongst other things. Interesting though.

Hope the Christmas lunch will be a blast, x!

In our case, the stress is caused by needing to meet all sorts of deadlines by the end of the month / end of the year, and the realisation that "the end of the month" effectively was today, as so many people you might need to meet your deadline are on holiday from today. I don't care much about Christmas really, not since my mum died...
The lunch will probably be fun as one of my co-workers is bringing copious amounts of mulled wine. :D

Well, it wasn't a very nice thing to say... but it's SO TRUE. Co-worker MR really does have oddly grass-like hair. He's so entirely uncool that he's nearly approaching "cool" from the other side of the spectrum. And he uses words (well, "words..."?) like "greetz" and "thx" in everyday business correspondence.

Bahaha. And even if you did, you'd be excused on the basis of being ACTUALLY young (rather than 50+) and actually speaking English. And not having grass-MrPotatohead-hair.
