I really like this blog. Sometimes I throw books across the room when I'm mad/triggered. I know how you feel with the teacher thing. My dad is a teacher and spends most of his time doing extra things like running the English academic games team and the ski club. I also agree I don't know what to do with my feeling either when I'm triggered especially if it's not something I can't avoid. I just had to read a book for my lit class which was for some reason really triggering it was pro self destruction. I've never been triggered by a book before. I had a hell of time writing the paper on it.
This is a really great blog. People really are so unpredictable. It is difficult. I have just recently become serious with someone, and we continue to throw each other for loops. Unpredictability can be a good thing sometimes.
As for triggers always being there, I wish they wouldn't. The other day when I went to leave the doctors office my car was dead. My gf was with me, and I picked up a bottle and threw it at the dash. It bounced back and scared the crap out of her. I am wondering now if that is a healthier way of expressing my anger or not.
I think disappointment is an inevitable part of life.
