Damnit, you make me wish I was still reading Star Wars novels... (I dropped them because a) it's difficult to get all of them in Poland in English and I absolutely refuse to read the translation because at times they make Zahn's novels read like they're Children of the Jedi or whatever... and b) because I can't get over some of the stupider stuff, and c) there's too many of them, and buying foreign books is too damn expensive and I'm a completist, so if I start I won't be able to stop ;D)

But Jag as a politician who just wants to fly? OMG, hello there narrative kinks.

Now, important thing: is Wedge still there? I'd read anything for Wedge...

And seriously, Jag is constantly awesome in this series. Though I think having his own simulator that he can hop into after a long day may be like my favorite thing ever.

Yes, Wedge is still around! He showed up in the first book of the series and played a decent part in the last one. (Though Allston is making sure we don't forget any of the other pilots either, YAY.)

How is it that Allston is like the only writer to ever remember that Kyp and Jaina are/were friends? It doesn't take much. Her leaning against his chair during the Jedi meeting was just so them in my mind that's all they needed. I've missed them Kyp & Jaina?! Actual interaction?! Because... LOVE!! <3
