I have figured something out. See, when I read a SW book (and it usually takes me more than five hours to read those), by the next day I'm discussing things and going "Well, okay, there was this one bit I wasn't great with," and then it ends up like Invincible, where I looooooved it so much at first (and still do) but now I have criticisms. Omg I feel like this whole thing is Jaina obsessive, sorry.
Um, yeah, you saw my 90%-Tahiri post, I CANNOT SAY A WORD ABOUT THIS.
Now remember that the Darkmeld operation to capture Seff was Jag, Tahiri, Winter, Mirax, and Jaina (and her driving. How have I not commented on her driving)
All I can say to that is "No, I'll drive. You're about as maneuverable as a nerf in a child seat with all that on!"
And now I have to go write up my other post about it. Because I pinpointed this morning the one thing that makes me really, really love this book (I think I might have commented to you about it but I'm not sure). And I have to glee about that.

This is insane to me. You have Jagged Fel, who generally responds logically and fairly unemotionally in stressful situations, going along with a Jedi plan to subvert the GA & which he has to know could be an act of war should anyone figure out that the Imperial head of State is involved... and he's doing it anyway because he LOVES Jaina.
And Jaina is so far from a Moff's toy...she makes a joke about getting presents and outright refuses to go set up a Jedi outpost in the Empire when Jag asks.
To me, they seem a heck of a lot like Han and Leia--there's the same sort of give & take there, neither afraid to speak their mind or admit that they're wrong. They're PARTNERS, and it's awesome!
Um...sorry for the rant :)
