Did everyone else see that stuff about Naturals and Coordinators? That girl mentioned Newtypes too? Wouldn't that just mean that... Naturals are normal people and Newtypes are like those Coordinators

Yeah, there's some really weird stuff going on on this base. I read up on those guys when I came here, but I couldn't make heads or tails of the report.
Well, I'm not even going to pretend I know anything about them. They even act kinda weird. But, they're good guys. Kinda goofy too so they're always good for a laugh.
Even if we're not human per-se, remember, magic self-aware programs and aliens and all that, I get it.
And of course there's different kinds of fighting. Hell, kids rough-house all the time. Some just never learn to be responsible about it. ZAFT... Blue Cosmos... all those crazy groups out there thinking their way is the best are fighting for their pride, rather than the sake of the people in this world.
Yeah, that's obvious. He's an ass, through and through.
But still, the Gundam Fights have regulations and they make it clear what can or can't fly. For someone to barge in and scream "stop the fighting!" when really nobody's in any danger is ridiculous.
It is going to be. I can guarantee it. Because Patrick Zala just declared open war against Naturals. Not earthnoids, NATURALS. That includes colonists, that likely even ironically includes newtypes. It probably even includes all the human-ish looking aliens around as well.
Lacus Clyne is fighting the same fight we are. She may be fighting it in a different way but she is fighting it.
This war isn't exactly new for us. We have been fighting ZAFT from the beginning. But I think its going to get much worse now. Because... I think we are going to have a war where the GOAL of each side... is to annihilate the other...
"Newtypes" "Coordinators" "Naturals"..... Unless someone can provide clear scientific proof that they are not members of the homo sapien, then they are only just human.
Its really not that simple though. Scientifically speaking, we are all human because we can interbreed safely. But the war isn't a war of science, its a war of ideals and bigotry. What matters is that they don't see each other as human. So long as that is the case, the scientific facts of it all are meaningless.

Scientific facts are never meaningless. Its science that has gotten humanity this far. It is whoever has the highest understanding of science that will overcome and be victorious.
Everyone is human, despite the powers they have...
On a surface level, I'd have to agree. Being a Coordinator and all, I'm not sure what side I should take. But both sides have done terrible, terrible things, so I think sticking with the GDF is the best possible option for now.

Then again, I didn't really have much of a choice. Exploding colony, or GDF... the choice was pretty clear there.
