In talking to some of my senior friends and examining my own thoughts on education this past week, I realized something.

School is rather like prison.

Nothing I know gets to me more quickly than feeling useless.  I cannot stand that I can't help him to stop hurting.  And that's selfish of me, because I care more about being the one to give comfort than I do that he get comfort at all.  Sometimes I am such a horrible person.
