Beep...beep...beep

I think I'm going to shoot myself. One of my smoke alarms (my somewhat new townhouse has like 7) is beeping. It beeps once every minute or so and its been doing it for a few hours. I thought I had like 10 9-volt batteries, but apparently, I used them all. So, I'm sitting here at 8:30 with a towel over the alarm (its not helping by the way). I

This is why you should change your batteries every six months. It's easy to remember if you do it at the daylight savings times.

heeee. If it's like mine, it runs on electricity AND batteries. I think I completely disassembled mine one time. Wires and screws and buttons.... oh my!

I realize I'm a little late on this one but...
there was a Friends episode just like this, where Phoebe destroyed a smoke alarm 'cause all it did was beep. And then she sent it down the garbage shoot, which caused the firemen to come. They were cute firemen. Maybe you need to do something to get cute firewomen to come to your aid ;)
