Mixed Messages

Well, I'm back at home. I'm getting really confused with all the mixed messages I'm getting. The wound care nurse had me thinking I was on death's door, full of infection that would consume me if I didn't have the hernia mesh removed like yesterday

pumped me full of Dilaudid, and sent me home with an prescription for Vicodin.

I'm really very happy that you're doing better - you had us all really scared for you. "Enjoy" your meds - as I always say, better living through chemistry...

You'll be glad to know (I'll be posting about it very soon) that I FINALLY made it to Penzey's. Oh, was that fun! Now I know why you've raved about it. Thanks for the mental incentive to go.

I'm still kinda scared - there's something about having a hole in you where there isn't supposed to be one that keeps a person on their toes. ;) I'm so glad you finally made it to Penzey's. Looks like you got a great haul, although color me surprised that you didn't buy out the entire store.

i have the same thing going on right now i had surgery on the 21 of jan and i have seen my dr every other day for the past week and ahalf to try to drain this thing!!!! i just want to know when it will all stop..... i want to get back to my life... are you in pain??? i sure am....

Luckily, the pain is under control thanks to the meds they gave me in the ER. And although I don't know the answer to how long it will all take to stop, I'm with you - the sooner the better!
