It sounds like you truly have been in hell. Hope you get out soon and never go back!! Now, what about Paul? Did he have the surgery? Is he alive? Has he had any of the problems you have had? Jancd
Paul is doing just dandy. So well, in fact, that he was released from the hospital a day early, because they were tired of pumping him full of Valium to keep from bouncing off the walls and driving the nurses crazy. He is two days behind me surgery wise, but is about a week ahead in recovery. His incision is closing nicely, his pain is minimal, and to look at him, you would think he has never been through surgery, let alone less than a week ago. I'm jealous. :)
And as a benefit, he's already lost 15 lbs. in the past week, so it looks like the surgery is doing its job. Hopefully his recovery continues to go as smoothly as it has already.
Thanks for telling us about Paul. At least you have a cheering section down there. You have so many people hoping good thoughts and praying for you in the U.S., you've just got to keep up the good fight. Hope you have a good night tonight, that you get some peaceful rest, and your projectile puking will disappear, and your good health will blossom. Jancd
Oh that just sounds awful. And I can't believe you are still so positive about the experience overall - it seems that you are handling this horror extremely well.
this is exactly what happened to me 7.5 month ago in the united sates in a private hospital!!! i also waited 6 days to get the blood patch. i also suffered like hell. no one believed me, they thought that i'm over reacting and that is way i couldn't breast-feed my baby. I totally understand you. it reminds me the trauma that i have been through.
