A/N: Heyaa guys! It's Saturday again, time for an update. And yeah, it's officially the start of our most-awaited SEMBREAK! Anyway, about the stupid and embarrassing rant I posted earlier this week, I've settled things already. I had few realizations and I hope it won't change anything. My Ichiban is Nakajima Yuto -- no one else but him.
Hmm, by the way, this is the third and last installment of the Deranging Coincidence Chapters. I'm thanking everyone who had appreciated the last chapters and those who commented on my lame rant post.
I'm sorry for everything wrong; the errors and such. I think I'm losing some English skills already so I know it' getting redundant! -_-"

Chapter 21:
"Deranging Coincidence"
(Part III)

Ayako's heart was beating very fast. Worry was taking over her thoughts as she stomped her left foot impatiently on the tiled floor. A sweat rolled on the side of her forehead. She sighed but it didn't succeed in putting away the burdened feeling within her.
'Is Yuki really fine?' Her thoughts asked over and over again as she looked at her cat Yuki curled beside her. She was sitting on a sofa, waiting for the medical results of Yuki.
After her sister called her, she hurriedly went home and found her sister kneeling at something. It was Yuki, vomiting what looked like the cat food she feed them. It was the first time it happened to Yuki - or to one of her cats. She immediately rushed Yuki to the veterinary clinic in case what was happening to it would be cured as soon as possible so as not to put the cat's life in danger.
The veterinarian took Yuki to their laboratory and examined her for about twenty minutes or so then gave her back to Ayako telling her to wait patiently since the result would come out 10 to 15 minutes later.
Five minutes elapsed and Ayako felt like she wanted to go inside the laboratory and look at the results herself without the doctor's interpretation. She was badly worried. She remembered she had a cat which died five months ago and she didn't want that to happen again. 'Not Yuki, not now...'
Just then, she heard the opening door hit the wind chime purposely attached above it to signal someone's arrival. The other animals around made their distinct sounds as they heard the wind chime. The veterinary clinic was also a pet shop. They sell puppies, love birds, parrots, rabbits, fishes, kittens, turtles, and hamsters.
Ayako looked at the new arrived customer in response to the disturbing wind chime sounds. It was a tall guy wearing a brown cardigan, a white printed shirt beneath it, black pants, and a stylish cap covering his face. The door was more or less three meters away from her so she couldn't clearly see his face plus she was not wearing her eyeglasses and the cap was on the way.
The guy looked over the cages of what seemed like hamsters. On the other hand, Ayako grew too impatient so she stood up and started wandering around the premises, with Yuki on her chest. She held her tightly with care.
As she looked at the tank of fishes, she heard footsteps coming.
"Ano..." Someone behind her called out.
She turned around and saw the guy who just arrived in front of her. "Hai?"
"Ahh, are you a high school student?" The guy asked.
She nodded. The guy was tall that Ayako found herself tilting her head upwards, 'Wait... I know this cute round face. It's very hamster-like... Hamster? MORIMOTO RYUTARO?!' Her eyes widened.
Seven down, three to go!
"Hmm, is it alright if I ask you which hamster is the cutest for you?" He asked politely while pointing his index finger to the cages of hamsters on his left.
"Ehh..." She blurted. She didn't get his question clearly because her mind got blank when she realized that she was talking to JUMP's youngest member. "C-cutest? Among them?" She looked at the direction where he was pointing and saw cute hamsters playing with each other.
He nodded. "Please..."
She looked at the cuddly hamsters like what he asked, "Hmm, is it for a girl or a boy?"
"Is gender a preference too?" He asked back with a wondering tone.
"Well, if it's a present -- then of course gender is a preference unless you just want to give it randomly. Presents and gifts are given to delight the person who will receive it so we need to make sure he or she will like it..." She explained like a teacher tutoring her student.
"Ahh, sou dayo ne~" Ryutaro exclaimed. He thought he just learned something very essential, especially to him who was on the early 'teen' stage. "I'm giving it to a girl."
Ayako was flabbergasted. She left her mouth open for few seconds due to the response she got from him. 'What? So this guy already has a girlfriend? Oh my... And he casually answered me like it is not something very intriguing. Hasn't he realized how famous he is? If only I'm running out of money, I'll be selling this information to the press.' She thought.
"Ehh? Wait, do you know me?" He became alarmed.
On that moment, she wanted to whacked him with any hard thing she could grasp -- luckily her hand didn't land to anything hard and she was carrying Yuki. 'What the... so he was thinking all the way that I don't know him!!!' "Of course I do!!"
"C-chotto..." He started stuttering while stepping away slowly.
She sighed, "It's fine. I won't tell anyone but about the hamster, choose the white one. Whether she is a high or middle school student as long as she is a girl, I'm pretty sure she'll like that!" She assured him.
He stopped moving away and went back to her, "Really! Thank you very much and I'm sorry about how I acted. I thought my disguise is perfect since this is what Hikaru-kun taught me." He scratched the back of his head in embarrassment.
She smiled, 'Really effective ne~ after all the other JUMP members I've seen earlier, you think any disguise would still mislead me...? Oh, I don’t know what to expect already…'
"Today is my cousin's birthday and she forced me to buy her a gift or else I won't be able to play baseball with her brother. She is really bossy and her brother follows her orders so I need to please her. Unfortunately, I don't now anything about high school students' likes or dislikes especially girls so thanks for helping me out!"
'Whoah! For Morimoto-kun to talk so much about this in person is so unorthodox. I thought he is a silent person, like how he is when he is in Shokura or in other programs. Maybe he's really talkative but the manager hasn't utilized his talent yet...' "Oh! Please tell your cousin happy birthday for me."
"Sure..." He replied.
"Excuse me, Himeji-san..."
Both of them turned around and saw the veterinarian on her white lab coat.
"Hai Sensei." Ayako said.
"I already have the results of Yuki's medical examinations so can I invite you inside the laboratory for the interpretation?" She asked.
With that, Ayako bid goodbye to Ryutaro and went with the veterinarian inside the laboratory.
"About the vomiting, it's actually not that fatal. Cats tend to have this vomiting from time to time due to many factors but in Yuki's case, it was because her digestion system wasn't able to process the food properly. But as I examined the blood sample I got from her, I found something else." The vet stated.
"What is it?" Ayako asked as she listened attentively to her.
"Yuki has a very low platelet count, which may be the reason behind her indigestion. Her immune system has somehow deteriorated and this may lead to more dangerous infections."
"What...?" Ayako exclaimed in worry. "What can we do about this Sensei?"
The vet put a hand on Ayako's shoulder, "As a remedy, you can leave her here for two to three days so that we can put her under a close supervision to monitor her platelet count. We have IV fluids here that will help her body produce more platelet in a shorter time."
"It's fine with me as long as Yuki will be safe I'll do anything."
"But one thing, our supply of food supplement that specializes in platelet production has just run out a while ago. I just called our main branch of this clinic and they will be delivering to us the supplies by tomorrow evening. With that span of time, I don't think it will be good for Yuki's condition."
Ayako got more worried, "Ehh?"
"I called other nearby pet shops and asked if they have the same food supplement and one answered they still have some supply so maybe you can purchase from there and give it to me before we close at eight o'clock."
"Okay, I'll do that!"

Later, Ayako found herself riding a train for the 3rd time on that day. Her destination was a pet shop that sold the food supplement for Yuki. She traveled with a worried heart so she was not really feeling well and her worsening blurry eyesight was somehow adding the burden. 'Maybe I should have followed Oneechan when she said I should not use my laptop early in the morning.' She thought with regrets.
Finally, when she arrived at the pet shop, she was in awe. It was her first time going there and she saw how big it was. Grabbing her astounded self inside, she noticed there was a man in front of her carrying a large dog on his arms with a younger guy beside him. Judging the size of the dog, she concluded that the man was a weightlifter or some sort. 'Wow, I wonder how heavy that dog is!'
When the sales clerk on the shop saw the man, Ayako noticed she smiled widely at them, "Welcome Okamoto-san!!!" The sales clerk greeted to the man. "Konichiwa Paburo!!!" Now, that was for the dog.
'Oka...moto???'
"Wow! Good thing Keito-kun is with you this time!"
The man chuckled, "He can't help it. He is curious of how you tame Paburo but he, himself, cannot!"
"Keito? As in OKAMOTO KEITO??!" Ayako just freaked out on the corner but no one seemed to have noticed her. Everyone in the shop -- who consisted of her, Keito, his father, Paburo the dog, another old man and two sales clerks, were all occupied to the living and concrete example of the famous 'like-father-like-son' phrase.
"Otou-san, stop it..." The younger guy, who was Keito, said in a timid manner.
Eight down, two to go.
Ayako sighed as she made her way to the counter next to Keito and his father who were busy talking to the sales clerk about the grooming they wanted to be done to their humungous dog. She asked for the food supplement for Yuki and the other clerk immediately gave it to her. Then she rode the train back to Machida and walked towards the veterinary clinic.
"This day is dreadful..." She muttered as she looked at the dark sky above her. "And now Ame-sama will come again... I don't know what will happen next to this anymore but I just hope this day will end up without me seeing him."
With all the coincidences she had bumped at for the day, her energy was draining and her mind was boggling. Things happened too fast that she ended up seeing EIGHT members of Hey! Say! JUMP out of ten and the day was still at its peak.
She then realized that even though she had only seen eight of them during the day, the remaining two were those she had befriended already which equated to more than accidentally seeing them, 'And besides, I heard Yamada-kun on the library with Chinen-kun earlier.' She thought.
She brought her wrist watch to her gaze, 2 o'clock in the afternoon. She hasn’t eaten lunch yet. No wonder why she could hear weird sounds coming from her stomach.
By the time she had delivered the food supplement to the veterinarian and bid temporary goodbye to Yuki, Ayako immediately went home. Her sister prepared her lunch while interrogating her of what actually happened to Yuki. She answered all her sister's questions, finished eating lunch and went into her room. There, she let her body sank into the comforts of her bed and she fell asleep.

Two days had passed since Yamada went to the Machida's Town Library together with Chinen and Yuto for a group review. Now, he was riding a taxi towards the familiar streets going to Machida again. He and the other members of Hey! Say! 7 had plan to gather at Yuto's residence, why? For 'bonding time' as what Chinen said. They were getting envious of BEST's closeness so they came up with that plan and every one agreed to hold it at Yuto's house since he has a large room and a balcony with a wonderful scenery plus his other family members would be going out of town to visit a sick Aunt which Yuto couldn't do because he had work in line.
Yamada leaned his back comfortably to the taxi seats when he heard his phone ringing. He looked at the LCD before flipping it open to know who was calling him, "Moshi moshi... Himeji-san?!"
"Ahh, Yamada-kun, may I ask where are you now?" The person, who was Ayako, on the other line sounded timid.
"I'm riding a taxi towards Machida. 7 are actually going to Yuto-kun's house today. Why?"
He heard her gasping, "Ahh... I just wanna return the cardigan you have lent to me. Hmm, maybe some other time, when you're not busy."
"No, today is fine. It's actually perfect! You can just drop by at Yuto-kun's house and give me the cardigan. With that, you will be saved from unnecessary hassle since you're just neighbors."
On the other line, Ayako's face turned different. She looked hesitant. "S-sou dayo ne~" She was still on the state of avoiding the person who rejected her feelings. "Okay, I'll just call you when I arrive outside Yuto-kun's house."
"Okay!" Yamada exclaimed, unaware of what Ayako was feeling,
"B-but please don't tell Yuto-kun that I'll be coming." She added. "I... I still don't wanna see him... Please Yamada-kun." Her voice sounded like it was going to break.
Yamada quickly had a realization. "O-of course. I'm sorry, I almost forgot about what happened."
Her lips formed a small smile, "Thanks. See you later then."
"See you, bye."
He closed his phone and sighed as the taxi drifted and turned left. Two blocks away and he would be arriving to his destination.
'She hasn't recovered yet. Girls, they really take things too seriously...' He closed his eyes and a piece of memory from the Tanabata Festival flashed across his thoughts, a scene of Ayako forcefully smiling beside him. 'Yuto-kun should have not let her fall in love to him if he knew he would only be hurting her in the first place.'
Just then, a sound from his phone signaling a received message startled him. He jolted in surprise and bit his lower lip in annoyance. "Tsk..." He opened his phone and saw a message from Chinen saying he just arrived at Yuto's house. He keyed in an 'I'm coming' reply and closed his phone again.
He noticed his temper had changed when he started thinking about Yuto and Ayako and sighed once more. 'I should not be the one worrying about them! They're old enough to settle this!!!'
And with that, Yamada Ryosuke realized that that wasn't going to be the last time that he would be unintentionally and harmlessly meddling into Yuto's love affairs. "What the heck...~" He whispered to himself.

**AME means rain.
Thanks for reading!!!
Comments are well-accepted...
Waahh! I just discovered that Paburo (Pablo), Keito's dog, is actually a toy poodle.
I'm not sure though but toy poodles are small dogs so they don't really weight too much but for my fanfiction purposes, please think that the Paburo here is a Labrador or Dalmatian, or even a Golden Retriever. XD
And about Yuki's sickness, I'm not really sure if it actually happens to CATS! In other words, it was a self-made sickness. Ahaha!! I'm sorry about how lame it is...
Thank you very much! Hehehe!
Now I'm getting confused of how to end this fan fiction...
