Susan Kay's Phantom

Dec 04, 2005 16:07

Hello, you on-line!
Another Phantom entry... I know, I'm quite boring, but what should I do? When I go after something there's no other way for me to get rid of the passion then consuming it without any stop.
I should be studying for my PhD exam by now... yet I'm here, reading Phantom, instead... bad, bad girl!

Yeah, I really liked Kay too........ dracschick December 5 2005, 01:49:48 UTC
It was excellent:)

PS--good luck with your Ph.D. It's painful but DEFINITELY worth it in the end! When I was doing mine, I took all the distraction I could get. I have a PhD in Chemistry and I'm teaching now (private high school). However, I've always enjoyed writing and still do that (as you know:)

Thanks for the support! I have to make the selection to enter the PhD program... there will be only 3 places to win and A LOT of people trying to enter, so it's a very difficult task... and I didn't study enough because I just finished to study for my graduation and I don't have the time... Anyway, I may try, isn't it? It's an International PhD in Criminology, quite interesting... and it could lead me to teaching too. But we'll see...
By now I'm going to begin a two-years criminological research in the Immigration Field.

Hope you're feeling better today, good luck with your health!

Ohh I'm delighted to hear you enjoyed it! I really found this book to be amazing, and agreed with you for the most part, it was very necessary for us E/C supporters to have some "But it's not Erik's fault because..." material to fall back on.

I hope you didn't make the mistake I did of reading this book in public though, I don't know how many of my friends and even teachers got worried about me because I creid so much *facepalm*

And I love your little smiley animation up there, very naughty ;o)

Anyways, it was really no trouble at all but you're welcome, I'm glad I could spread some nice Erik-y cheer!

Yes, totally agree... by the way, I seem to have an alarming weakness for the evil characters... especially the mentally disturbed ones... is it normal?

No, I read it in the solitude of my room... but nonetheless it affected me seriously. I was depressed for the whole period, since I came to the conclusion... and then I was touched, but happy, in a certain way.

Hehehe.... I LOVE naughty things... don't you think it was appropriate?! ;)
