Thank you! You always thank people for commenting when we should be thanking you for bringing this beauty forth for us! As I've said, I thought about this story EVERY SINGLE DAY since you posted the first part. I love it! I love that you captured Bert so beautifully... that you focused on those aspects of him that you did. I always love your Bert. He's so often so soft and tender and vulnerable and yet still so inherently Bert! I love Gerard. Oh... and I love your characterisation of him too. Again, I don't know how you do it. To take them so far out of reality and yet still make them so real.
I'm a dialogue slut and I love every single piece of dialogue you've written here. Not one line seems forced, or fake or out of character. It's so truly beautiful!
I could go on... I want to go on, but I just wanted to say (and I mean no offence to anyone) thank you again, for writing something so serene and beautiful during a time when Bert is stirring the fandom up the way he is and inspiring a lot of angry!fic
( ... )
I want to thank you, because I could actually read this fic all the way through without having a 'wtf is going on here' moment. (And I've missed that lately)
Loved this: "So, you fell for an artist, huh?" "Yeah. It's kinda my job -- you know, part of the whole muse-artist thing."
And the way the beginning described Gerard through his life rather than really obviously and badly, like: "He is an artist. Artists are messy."
