Release 036 - April, a Farewell, and New Beginnings

Hey Colors! The April release is finally here. :) And with this release, my 36th one, I shall now be stepping down. No need to panic -- Colors isn't going anywhere!
Thank you all for the amazing time I had here, nearly 3 full years worth of fun (if you check the dates, this community was created on April 30th while the official opening was June 2nd~). I consider Colors an April baby because the idea was born in April. :)
Seriously, I had an awesome time running Colors and meeting so many amazing people. :) I never thought Colors would grow so large. In fact, I was envisioning a small, cozy TCG that would not take a lot of commitment, but I ended up with something much, much larger. It was simply an amazing experience having Colors take off like that.
This is really thanks to all of you, mods and players alike, for bringing your enthusiasm to Colors and helping Colors grow. I'm terribly in love with our Colors Universe characters (thanks for making it happen! <33), and I loved seeing players start projects like First Mastery Badges, Donation Drop Off, Asobot Initiative, Colors RPG, and the like! Colors wouldn't have been as interesting without all of you and these wonderful ideas, and neither could we have run events like Advent Calendar or Colors League, as they are powered by player activity.
Though I will now be stepping down, I will forever remember our time together, and cain03. (If you weren't around for the cain03 joke, let us tell the joke to you sometime~). I will possibly still be around as a player and sometimes a mod, but I will no longer be the head mod. People come and go, and now it is my time to move on since my heart is not completely here with Colors anymore, and that's doing Colors a disservice. As I will not be around as much anymore, if you'd like to catch me elsewhere, feel free to poke me on plurk, tumblr, DW, or LJ. I pretty much go by Lucathia everywhere. I would hate losing touch. :) (Watch, I say this, and then I end up playing and trading more than before, hahaha. Well, we'll see~)
Fel, Aru, and Raven will be taking over my duties, and they have already begun picking up my slack. ;) Look forward to a revitalized Colors! Future releases will slowly be moved nearer to the beginning of the month a few days at a time, and the site will be updated more frequently. There are also other great plans in store for Colors. I personally can't wait! Colors has been slow lately, but I have utmost confidence that these three will bring new life to Colors.
Although this is farewell, this is also a new beginning. :) Thank you so much for sticking around and playing at Colors. <3333

Again, thank you all for the wonderful time I had here. I'll see you around, but not as the head mod of Colors anymore.
