Hee, I liked the post.

Except I disagree to a point about liking something without knowing the "why" behind it. Yeah, it's great and cool because it's raw and undefined, but I think knowing how it makes you like it lends a deeper appreciation of the work which you can't get from just "the feeling."

But that's just me, and probably I'm more nerdy than your average person. <3

normally i would agree with you because im a person that likes to know how everything works ... but with books its different. i think using all that stuff to define it only really messes up the meaning/message of the book.

I agree with you on the whole Catcher in the Rye. And those other 2 books seem pretty cool too, so I'll most likely read them myself. When u know in the Catcher in the Rye, Holden claims his favorite book is The Great Gatsby. And I ended up having to read that for school. It's a very good book, and the end is sad, I cried like a jerk. Weird how a book can make me cry. But i was so sad, I didnt even feel like answering my homework questions. You should read it.

and the one from catcher in the rye but from that book my fave is when he said "So long, I said. I didn't thank her or anything. I'm glad I didnt."

oh i wanna read the great gatsby so bad when i get the chance. i heard it was so awesome.

i cry in books ALL the time. today i almost cried during FCAT when i was finished up Wallflower. i had to force myself to stop because i knew almost no one in the room and it woulda looked kinda weird lol. you should definitely read that book.

oh yeahhhh i forgot about that quote. that was one of my favorites too. i can rememeber really getting into that book JUST because of that quote. im gonna re-read the book. even buy it.

i seriously need to call you up soon when i get the time to talk about EVERYTHING ... even book discussions because those are fun, as dorky as that sounds :D
