John took those seven minutes to put on some freaking sweatpants and try to toweldry his hair - if there was a crisis, he could at least be half dressed. When he heard the knock he marched over to the door, sliding it open slowly and peeking out.

"Um.. are you okay?"

"Oh.." John tried to stifle a chuckle, but was wholly unsuccessful. "What'd you think? I got a kick out of it, thought I'd.. share the fun."

Was he getting hit now? This was usually when he got hit.
