That's partly correct. Mejaine said all that because she didn't think Zaelem will be able to achieve it and she wanted him to get over her. At that time, that is. More of their past in... very not-near future. ;)

Such an awesome chapter! I feel so sorry for Zaelem and what he went through with Mejaine. But it's neat to see he obviously has feelings for Kismette. And why do I get the feeling that Evelynn is wrong about Gwen.
