Since I've been feeling particularly uninspired lately and tumblr prevents me from iconmaking by distracting me with pretty pictures, I thought it might be fun to make an icon progress post (Not dial-up friendly).

I really think that 14 months of n00b icons are long enough, haha, but thank you very much! I wish I hadn't deleted my very first icon, it's extremly entertaining to look at your own beginner's work.

I love that too! Specially when some actually always has a style of their own. You see the "little personal touch" through all the years.
Would you mind if I steal the idea?

Sorry for the late reply but of course, go ahead! It's not like I'm the one who had the idea in the first place ^_^.

I can't believe I never commented on this post. I think that says a lot about the fact how terribly behind I've been (and still am, I guess). But I had to comment as I loved looking and reading through this post. I didn't know your icons in that first phase, but I'm so surprised that I pretty much got to know you and your icons in that second phase already. Those icons are still so gorgeous. Really, looking at them makes me want to use some of them (like the Buffy and Stay icons). They're so pretty and you're right; you already developped your own style there. And I think that's what I love about all these icons in general. No matter all the different things you try and the "phases" you might have, you can still always tell that it's you and your style. I honestly love that ( ... )
