Summary: Jared and Jensen visit San Antonio. It doesn’t go quite like they thought it would.

The visit to San Antonio was just supposed to be Jared and Jensen going as best friends. They had already been a bunch of times as such, but it was the first time they were going as friends when they were actually something more.
One freezing cold night, tequila, and a game of truth or dare had finally gotten Jared and Jensen to realize what was right in front of them the whole time.
So it’s supposed to be quick an easy, just a fast visit to Jared’s parents place before Jensen heads off to Richardson and they’re apart for a few weeks for hiatus before meeting up in LA.
But things don’t really go according to plan.
Sharon and Gerald, or Momma P and Poppa P, are awesome and Jensen’s second set of parents, even before the whole making out and realizing he and Jared were in love or anything. He’s visited tons of times in the past, stayed in the same room as Jared, and everything’s been fine.
But now he and Jared are in the honeymoon stage of their relationship where they can’t keep their hands off each other. Well, Jared can’t keep his hands off Jensen period, but Jensen can’t help but reciprocate now whereas he’s usually pushing Jared away, or just letting him do whatever. That should have clued him in before, really. It’s too late for regrets and looking back, and at least they’ve finally gotten their act together.
Jared and Jensen are goofing around in the bathroom, late at night while everyone is asleep. They’re splashing each other in the shower, giggling, trading hot wet kisses, and don’t hear the creak outside the door. They finish up, wrap towels around themselves and walk out to see Sharon in her bathrobe waiting outside the bathroom door.
Jared and Jensen stand stock-still, as does Sharon, all three not quite sure what they should do.
Jensen mumbles something and all but runs to Jared’s room, closing the door quickly and grabbing some sweats he can pull on. He can feel his face reddening and is so embarrassed at being caught by Sharon of all people.
Jared comes in a few minutes later, red as Jensen feels.
“Well, she knows,” he says quietly. “She didn’t seem surprised at all. Even asked me what took so long when I explained.”
Jensen’s mouth opens in surprise. Momma P was okay with it? That gave him hope, because although the start of the relationship was with alcohol, Jensen knew this was pretty much it for him. Jared was the one.
Warm arms come around him, and Jensen snuggles in automatically before he realizes that Jared is still almost naked. He banishes those thoughts for right now, scared of what else could happen tonight and doesn’t want to get embarrassed any more tonight.
While the visit didn’t go exactly how he expected it to, he honestly wouldn’t change it for anything.
