A/N: Oh man, I’m sorry about all the pre-slash I’m slamming at you! I promise there will be more of this one, though.
It’s kind of weird that Jensen’s never noticed the ridiculously hot senior that happens to be at the same middle school as Jensen for their semester before student teaching. They’re at the schools twice a week, all day.
Jensen thinks it might be because, although he’s graduating on time, he was on the path to graduate early before he decided to do a minor in psychology so he got his education classes done with early and is now back on track to graduate in exactly four years.
He assumes this guy has always been on time and that’s why he hasn’t seen him, not because he’s older. If anything, it looks like the guy is graduating early because he looks younger than Jensen.
Jensen sees him in the main office of the school and he has to go to the same university as Jensen because he has the same badge and lanyard as Jensen does. He thinks this guy might be in the other block of education classes than him. Which is a good thing because he honestly doesn’t think he would get anything done if Jensen had that guy to look at every day.
“Hi, I’m Jared!” The guy says when he catches sight of him. His name badge says Jared Padalecki and damn, what a mouthful. Jensen’s firmly doesn’t let his mind wander on other mouthfuls because he is in a school after all.
“Jensen,” he responds. He bends down to sign in after Jared has finished.
The receptionist tells them where they’re going and it turns out Jared’s in the sixth grade hallway while Jensen’s in the eighth.
“I’ll see you around man,” Jared tells him, like he’s genuinely hoping to.
“Yeah, maybe lunch or something,” Jensen says, meaning it completely. He definitely wouldn’t mind seeing Jared around and noticing him once again.
