Hey guys! I was looking around for knitting-related LJ comms, and when I saw this one I thought it was just what I was looking for! I'm a first year Master's student at Ball State University, majoring in secondary education and going for my teaching license. I love how you set the goal for yourself in November! I've heard of NaNoWriMo but I'm always too busy knitting to write :) I do know that some people do something in November called NaKniSweMo (National Knit a Sweater Month!), invented by a blogger here: http://www.knitgrrl.com/?p=378
I'm not sure if people still do it, I've never done it. But your scarf idea reminded me of it!
