I can see lots of running for umbrellas and rubber boots and lamp posts next time it rains in California. ;-))

I'm going too! Taking my two daughters, mom and my 14 y.o. niece. My niece is really excited - she turned the chance to go to a concert! My mom has never seen this movie - I still can't believe it! She's all skeptical - when I told her how good it is, she says, "Okay, we'll see. I'll take your word for it." What, crazy woman??? It's freakin' 'Singin' in the Rain'!!!!

I think everyone's either at Comic-Con or on Tumblr lately. It's been so quiet around these parts! I'm still here though, reading about all your adventures.

I've never seen that movie, although I did sing the song and do a little routine for my kindergarten graduation. Seriously! It's one of those movies on my list I never got around to.

I'm going too! LOVELOVELOVE this movie. I've been jumping for joy (mentally, sometimes physically) since I saw this in previews at another movie a couple of weeks ago.

Take your umbrella! :)

De-lurking to comment.... My great-uncle went to high school with Gene Kelly in Pittsburgh. I remember my uncle reminiscing many times about how Gene Kelly was a really, really nice guy when he knew him, and a great athlete in school. Oddly, I don't remember him commenting on Gene Kelly's dancing/acting/singing skills, although that probably says more about my uncle than it does Gene Kelly, LOL.

(And just so that I don't freak you out.... I just discovered Oz a couple of months ago, and quickly became obsessed with intrigued by the whole Beecher/Keller storyline as well as the Lee/Chris dynamic, which led me to the Leeloni LJ community, which led me to your journal.)

*shyly goes back to lurking*

(P.S. I love your incredible videos and your awesome OZ dolls! They are absolutely amazing.)

Omg, that is amazing that your great-uncle knew Gene!! It would make sense he would remember Kelly more as an athlete, Gene was a trained gymnast I believe, and didn't really plan to become a dancer. Funny how things work out.

Come out, come out...no need to lurk! :) All are welcome, I'm happy to hear you discovered Oz. It's so easy to get hooked on those B/K boys!

P.S. Thank you for the compliments on my vids & dolls! :D
