I seriously wish Tim Gunn would've stopped by to check on the progress with sewing my 1940's dame costume...perhaps he might have pointed out that I was doing it completely wrong.

I'm cracking up over the coconut head in the background. :D

And, OOOH PINK. SHOCK! I think it looks great, I love the cap sleeves and the lace bits at the waist and that can obvs be worn for a costumed event but isn't costume-Y, and your shoes are going to look amazing with it! Woo hoooooo

WOOT! It's pink-ish fuschia, it kind of changes as the light hits it. I like the black lace at the waist too but Moms!D said it would look more authentic without it so I'll see how it goes when attaching the skirt (whether or not I need it to cover up rumples & bumples & schtuf).

P.S. I knew you'd love my tiki head dude! \o/ Meloni's hiding in that pic too, but it's hard to tell (it's a keychain hanging down off the shelf). ;)
