That's really awesome! It sounds like you've found a calling that you're going to get a lot of fulfillment out of. (I'm jealous) ;)

As for locale, I'd recommend one of the two in WI. I had a friend who lived near Madison and liked it, and both of them keep you within a long drive of Chicago which would be great for mini-vacations.
