What kind of treats do you want? Fic, vids, artwork, picspams, recs.
Favorite WC characters: Neal, Peter, Mozzie (though please feel free to use any WC character)
Things you like in fanworks: Angst. Humour. Hurt/comfort. Episode-related. Casefic. AU. Drama.
Things you don't like in fanworks: Supernatural (esp horror). Gore. Darkfic. Deathfic. Depressing endings. Anything sexual, including innuendo. No character bashing. For vids, no bad language please, and I don't really like heavy metal, punk or rap.
Prompts:
- A fluffy or feathery pet comes into Neal's life.
- Mozzie and his bees.
- Satchmo.
- Cover art for fic, even if it has cover art already, is good. Fic cannot have enough cover arts as far as I'm concerned! :)
- Neal angst over his father's betrayal. Maybe Mozzie tries to make him feel better somehow - or another character of your choosing.
- An example of Mozzie and El's friendship (maybe talking over a cup of tea or on a picnic).
- A day at the beach.
Any non-WC things you might like to receive: I could do with a couple more Agent Carter icons, preferably Peggy and/or Jarvis.
Non-fandom, I like felines of all shapes and sizes (especially the wild ones), and birds (all of them - yes, even vultures, who are so misunderstood!), and have a fascination with animal intelligence (but in a 'tell me a story' or 'link me a video' way, rather than a scientific 'here's the how and why' of it way).
Book recs are always welcome. I like biographies by vets, farmers, zoo people, owners of animals, travelling (tourist or adventure travel), people living in a different country for a while/moving there for good and historical whodunits. I'm not so keen on biographies such as 'Gorillas in the Mist' (they feel too scientific for my liking), and am not keen on books that dwell on the dark and nasty side of life in another country.
Anything else? Did you know that vultures can wait for an hour or more when arriving at a carcass to make sure it is definitely dead before eating? That their stomach acid kills rabies and lots of other really bad diseases, so by eating diseased animals they are stopping that disease from spreading (unlike rats, wild dogs etc, which help to spread it)? And that, after the vulture population in India dropped by 99% in just ten years, they estimate 50,000 people died of rabies who wouldn't have otherwise? This is why they are so misunderstood and we should be hailing them as heroes! :D :D (Well, you did say 'anything else', didn't you?)
