Because this request relates to the new episode. The scene where Larson gets one over Neal and Neal asking for Combat Training really niggles my mind.

Prompt/Request: I want a story which relates to the scene.

Characters: Whoever you want...Neal doesn't even have to be in it, it can be another character thinking about Neal too.

I would Like: Some character-analysis would be nice, othewise, do what you want.

I Don't Want: Neal going into Combat Training and becomming a super-fighter. Whimpy-Neal. (he can be traumazied, but keep in mind that this wasn't his first dangerous situation by far).

Yes to this! :D I've totally been trying to think up something along these lines. I don't see Neal going into combat training, but perhaps take a defense class? After all, he can't run all the time.

Would it be okay if I had something happen to Neal? Nothing major, just something to get the the other character's (I'm thinking Peter) thought processes going?

Totally okay...(as long as you are careful his poor artistic hands)

I look forward to whatever you think up.

Thank you! That was great...I especially liked the emphasis in the difference between self defense and combat. And the image of Neal, straighten out his sweaty T-Shirt (still laughing)....

Mmkay, I totally didn't mean to do anything for this. Partly because, well, I've only just finished watching season one, and haven't seen the episode referred to. XD

Buuuut... while I was lying in bed at one o'clock, trying to fall asleep, this prompt randomly popped into my mind again, and I thought - "Oh, hey, I should totally write something for that." 'Cause it's one of the few cop-show-type scenarios where I actually can write what I know. And these ideas always seem so much more brilliant in the wee hours of the morning. So yeah. I ended up staying awake until probably two, writing the thing in my head because I didn't want to wake my sister up. And then I got up this morning, and lo and behold, it still made sense.

So here it is - prompt response number two!
