Well the last week has been fun. Luckily the house is quite high up a hill, so that was OK. We had to evacuate the lab Monday lunchtime. lab lost power about 4pm. The house lost power about 930pm, didn't come back on in the house till about lunchtime Tuesday. Got power back to the lab about 5pm Tuesday, but didn't get the IT back up until Wednesday ( Read more... )

We got the equivalent of a months rain in the space of 24 hours, it's been a bit of a nightmare, the towns still not back to normal. this is the BBC news report

I GOT INTO SHEFFIELD :D:D hurray hurray! Ah-HA you haven't gotten rid of me yet you! I better invest in some wellies tho me thinks...and perhaps a boat? Ah well.
