Yeah--I have no trouble buying that a lot of Jacob's last days (weeks, even) were spent processing all the awesome weird stuff he got to do and see as Selmak's host.

I can't begin to fully imagine what would go through someone's mind after such fast-paced weirdness! I had chosen the letter Z to play around with because there are so few "z" words in English. I was amazed at how many SG words immediately came to mind and there are many more in the lexicon that I didn't include.

My favorite part of this is Jacob's reflections on the Tok'ra-Jaffa alliance, and the need to put Selmac's clout and wisdom together with Jacob's military experience. One wonders if some choice swear words were invoked on occasion! :)

Undoubtedly! They probably uttered mutual expletives, as Selmak was as shrewd and reasonable as Jacob and would have seen the value in a lasting alliance.

A very plausible way for Jacob to spend his final moments. I loved his reflections on the various aspects of his life and got a giggle from the ray guns. Great story :)

I like this, though I don't like the idea of Jacob dying. Surely as a Tok'ra, he will outlive all his Earth friends by a long time?

Thank you! One would think that he would outlive everyone he knew by hundreds of years. Should I have put a major character death warning? I'm sorry if I bummed you out with this!

I don't think it needs a warning, as the premise of the fic implies that he's dying - I was just slightly surprised.
