This year is starting out

i turn 29. I have already had one meltdown today. I am off today and tomorrow. i made plans with my best friend and I thought we would be hanging out all day long, since my birthday is 24 hours but he may have to work. Its understandable. around mid to late january for 7 days. perhaps couch surf to save on hotel expenses.. i can cook and clean in exchange.. and I make great company. I may or may not be alone. chagrin has settled into my bones. Its dismally grey outside. The leaves didn't fall quietly this year, they died loudly amongst warm days that falsely let me believe that perhaps the cold and snow wouldn't make me take over my existence. Chicago.
