Nice!

This makes you appreciate how difficult Bastila's position is. The unknown factors if how strong Revan's personality is and if she is up to the challenge of possibly fighting him on a psychic level (as the revelation scene shows them fighting over a star map.)

When I first played the game, it was a female character, so I didn't guess all the "obvious" clues so many other people claimed to have seen, because Revan was referred to as a male. So when Vrook mentioned "can we be sure that Revan is truly dead?" it seemed spooky. Great, not only do we have to worry about Malak, now there's some Sith spirit....
Your writing recaptures that ominous feeling.

or that the most feared Dark Lord in the galaxy is as ugly as a Hutt’s rear end.One of the points I made in one of the most pointless arguments I had with someone was that it was great that Revan doesn't have to be gorgeous to be a great character. Some of the avatar selections are very plain, to say the least. She was complaining how come Revan isn't built like Malak or Carth and ( ... )

Truth to be told, I've never really *gotten* the revelation scene. I'm not sure if it's a psychic battle manifest, or returning memories or...*shrugs helplessly*. I first played as a male character, but completely missed just about everything. Including Vrook's comment. I was really bad at close-reading then.

Well yeah, I don't see why Revan has to look good. For this particular run-through, I'd picked the Revan with the short, pale hair - the one with the squarish jaw (male). I thought he looked pretty damn ugly (which was the point, I guess.)

And thanks :)

I know what you mean. My daughter and my friend were both playing female characters as we switched off and watched each other's games (one day I will relate the tale of us playing this game, which is a story in itself.) And I had started my I'm-so-badass Dark side male in my turn.

So Vrook said that thing. And I started guessing. Couldn't be the player character because Canderous kept calling Revan a "he," and even if that was Canderous' mistake, there was really no reason to think that the player character was Revan. So I just sort of forgot it and wondered if we were going to meet Revan's ghost somewhere. (Meanwhile my DSM is looking at Vrook like Vrook had gone off his rocker. Paranoid much, old man? Yeah, yeah, I seek to further the light. Bastila, I'm so going to kill you for dragging me here to these goons. well, guess what? I'll just "stop Malak" and take his place... To hell with this Revan these idiots are so obsessed with....") LOL! I was really thinking that when I played that scene. My character didn't want to have ( ... )

Oh yeah, there was that. I stumbled upon that by accident - for some reason, my points system had glitched, so I went to max Dark Side immediately, the moment I'd gotten light side points.

Which I thought was rather cool. I just need to replay without the charisma penalty...
