bike trip day 19 Sioux City, Iowa

Yesterday I noticed that my wheel was making this strange ticking noise as I rode. It seemed kind of strange, nothing was rubbing on my brakes and the tread seemed fine, at least until I found out that I had just about had a complete blowout on my rear tire. I rode for about 50 miles with this busted tread and made it safely in Sioux city Iowa.
