Thanks for that. I had seen the second two but not the first. Interesting to see two slightly different but still apparently valid interpretations of the material, and compare it to the interpretation of the group(s) I am involved with here. It strikes me that in the first, most of the motion is more or less along the line toward the opponent, while for the second two it's a more passing attack - but the defences work in either case.
I've never seen the technique variation as suggested in the second video where they used the long sword as more a spear / bo. It seemed actually quite viable.
