This is kind of heartbreaking:
There was no answer but Harley hadn’t been expecting one. She’d long since come to understand and accept that expectations and reality rarely met on the same level.
Batman's compassion is wonderful here.
And your last line is superb!
The second one is a good look at Ivy's psyche. She'll resent Harley and their relationship, but deep down she knows she needs it.

Oh totally. Ivy's always at war with herself. Happily, her human side tends to win out more often than not.
