His fingers danced over her skin, pausing as he felt the rough scar that ran along her side.
“Sam,” she murmured.
“Jules,” he responded, smiling as he kissed her gently.
“We shouldn’t be doing this,” she said, though she returned his kiss.
“No, we shouldn’t,” he agreed as he slid his hands around her back, pulling her away from the locker she was pressed against and lifting her up.
“Do we care?” she asked, wrapping her legs around him.
“Not really.”
“If anyone asks, we were just comparing scars,” she said, kissing the jagged scar on his shoulder.
