“It’s kind of warm in here, isn’t it?” Colby asked as he walked into the house and Megan looked at him incredulously.
“Kind of? Colby, it’s a freakin’ sauna in here!”
“Oh, come on it’s not that bad.”
“Oh, yes it is. Just because you’ve seen hotter weather doesn’t mean this isn’t hot, too.”
“Well, look on the bright side.”
“There’s a bright side to being cooked in here?”
“Yeah. There aren’t any bodies in here. You know how bad they would stink in this warm weather?”
“Hot weather.” Megan corrected him, but he shook his head as he glanced at the thermostat on the wall.
“Warm weather, Megan. It’s not 100 yet. Only 98. It’s warm.”
“Whatever.”
