Its been a bad week but its over. I found out this week that the Navy needs me to go to sea more than they need me to get married. I explained that if I did not get married in November that I would not be able to fall into the required one year window of time left in Japan for me to bring Emilie back with me, to which they said, "We don't care." I live in a country that is 6000 miles from everybody I care about. My family, my friends, I have spent the last two years of my life in a mindset BASED on waiting. Waiting sucks. I can tolerate it, but I don't like it. Esspecially under the circumstances.
'Much to say' sound slike it would fit nicely in my yahoo email folder. I'll look forward to it.
Thanks for the cheer up though.

I meant to say waiting - in this case - really isn't so bad. Now emily has time to plan, there's no CRUNCH with trying to get things done at a certain time. It's time to breath. No stressing for the bride - WHICH IS MUY IMPORTANTE. You guys have time to look forward to seeing each other and doing all that lovey dovey cooing over the phone. *fakes puking* . . . *wink* AAAAND . . . . aaaaand. . . . I lost my train of thought. I'm not sure there will be an email going out to you though. My brain is ka-put.

im glad you are feeling better about everything. hearing you upset is my least favorite thing in the world. the situation still sucks, but im glad the both of you are coping well with it. i read the thank you letter than emilie sent mom- how well spoken! i miss you terribly. nothing is really going on over here. gas is getting back to normal and work is going well. i love you, brother.

Wow, Yep, that about sums it up on everything I had to say. I think I lost my train of thought for a bit. But I wish you the best in your endevors, though I know the Navy has it's ways of saying one thing and doing another, and the whole hurry up and wait policy they seem to hold so dear.

Let the ball roll where it may, you end up exactly wehre you are suppossed to be, I promise

Wow Megan, I haven't heard from you in a long time. Did you ever end up joining the Air Force? There is a good article on military recruiting in this month's GQ magazine you should read if you are still considering that option. I think it is the GQ with Cameron Diaz on the cover. The article is titled AWOL ( ... )
