Salacious detail about Stephen revealed at TDS taping
I had the privilage of seeing a taping of The Daily Show today. Even though Rob and Jason were the two featured (and my least favorite) correspondents it was still a great and hilarious show. I might write a full recap over in the TDS community later but I wanted to talk about something that involved Stephen.
If you watched TDS this evening and saw the Tina Fey interview you'll remember her saying that either Stephen Colbert OR Steve Carell was a notorious ladies man back in the day, but she wouldn't say which. As you probably know, before the toss Jon and Stephen talk back and forth to establish a satellite connection. Jon took this opportunity to ask Stephen about Tina's juicy tidbit. In response to Jon's question, Stephen started laughing (and blushing) uncontrollably. He then asks Jon if he was on camera. Jon said no and Stephen says, "Carell will fuck anything that moves." They both go on a mini tangent about Steve Carell and Jon said, "You know what the biggest mistake I've made in Carell's presence? I moved." After about thirty seconds of that Stephen said, "Of course none of that is true." Bwah! Jon then suggested that they end every show with a revelation from one of the correspondents.
